How you can make a difference?

We give our services free of charge to provide training and advise on the design of child protection centres where evidential video recording equipment is installed. We have provided training in the project ion Cuba and donated the evidential video recording equipment installed in the child protection centre in Santiago de Cuba. In recent years we have been working with a number of Provinces in the north and west of Argentina. In 2012, we trained 12 psychologists in Tucumán from the Provinces of Tucumán, Jujuy and Formosa. To facilitate this training we donated the video recording equipment and gave advice to redesign the video interview centre.

In March 2014, we donated a set of video recording equipment to the Province of Formosa.

How your money brings change

The CPDT relies entirely on donations to help children in these very difficult circumstances. The developing countries in which work have limited budgets. Once pilot projects have proved the benefits of the system, there is unanimous agreement from all agencies to offer this facility as widely as possible.

Some of the equipment is donated at a very low cost to the charity, often below manufacturing cost or free of charge. Even with these generous gifts we still need funds to pay the remainder of the vital equipment and installation in the centres.

The experience of reporting sexual abuse will always be difficult for children, but with your help, the trauma will be significantly reduced and perpetrators more likely to be brought to justice.
