About Us

About the Child Protection Development Trust

The charity is committed to implementing child friendly investigation and prosecution procedures for victims of child sexual abuse in developing countries.

We aim to achieve this goal by:

  • Transforming child protection systems and procedures through the effective use of video recorded evidential interviews with child victims and child witnesses.
  • Working in partnership with government agencies and NGOs in the host country.
  • Receiving practical help from the police service and NGOs in the UK.
  • Receiving financial support from commercial sponsors, charitable trusts and individual donations.

The charity has a Board of Trustees who manage the project work and fundraising. The board members have a range of practical experience in the public and charitable sector. Find out more information about the trustees,
